I had a treat today

This isn't about painting and I don't think this note will get there.  I am not bragging I am hugging myself.  And it will seem like a small thing, but Bob decided to exercise.  He set up our ancient equipment in a circle to work out on and started.  I got up and walked the dog.  ( enough)>>  but we have decided to read King of Thrones and watch the first season along with the story.  There are 5 books, and the 5th just came out.  Laura and Chris are doing it also.  ( not the exercise, they are skinny, underfed, over sleepy young working parents.)  In fact they are the reason we are trying it.  Another thing for a couple to do together.  And maybe some day we can do a bible study together in the morning.  ( one can hope and wait.)  Anyway, we have HBO, so Bob down loaded HBO GO to our Ipads.  And when we are working out ( yeah I started today....) we can watch the next episode of the show.  The book and the show are really well done and interesting.  The characters change their names like water in the book, and the ones you like and hope to read about throughout the whole book disappear or die when you least expect it.  I am sure there are other shows worth the watch, like True Blood with the books.  Maybe we can try that one, but Bob doesn't seem interested in the subject.  This one is about science fiction and kings and and queens and wisdom and intrigue and murder etc.  Well done HBO, well done.  I also enjoy watching Justified....but I have kept up with that show.  I haven't seem much art in the movie.  That was lacking back then I guess.  Part of the teacher's duty was to show them how to draw I am sure.  Something we don't get in school anymore it seems.  It is like dance, and gymnastics and baseball, it is done outside of school until maybe high school.  Our children are sponges and we fall short of giving them every chance to learn everything.  What poor child is going to get to go to dance or gymnastics?  It is hard enough for people who have good jobs to pay for this.  Thank God for the Boys Club it tries.  Volunteer there.  In something you have learned bring it forward.  Love you.
